Mr. Prakash Wagle is a Mechanical Engineer (B.Tech) from IIT-Bombay, with over 40 years of experience in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry in Projects, Engineering Maintenance, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environment Management.
He was associated with ICI India for over 25 years in various businesses – Industrial Explosives, Rubber Chemicals, Fibres, Paints. In 2000, he took charge of Corporate Engineering & SHE functions of ICI India. In 2004, he joined Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. as Director – EHS, accomplishing development and implementation of a World-class EHS Management System and securing ISO-14001 & OHSAS-18001 certifications for all API manufacturing sites.
He is associated with ICC (Indian Chemical Council) on the approved panel of Auditors to conduct Responsible Care Logo audits, having conducted audits at over 25 of the top 100 Chemical companies in India.
